[Exhibitor Interviews]Hitachi Automotive Systems Measurement, Ltd.

Hitachi Automotive Systems Measurement, Ltd. is involved in creating multi-energy stations for the various energy sources used to power cars. The General Manager for the Business Management Planning Division, Mitsuharu Yoyasu says, "multi-stations allow people to fill up their cars with various types of fuel such as gasoline, electricity, hydrogen and natural gas, all in one location. Our company was at the forefront of supporting natural gas vehicles, and this experience with high-pressure technology made it easier for us to develop the even higher pressure hydrogen dispensers. We would like people to see our advanced technological skill at our exhibit".

With the introduction of various vehicle types, it is important to have energy stations supporting diverse fuel types in the appropriate locations. It is also important to develop a society that is well adapted to multi-stations at a city level.

The company is also working to create energy infrastructure that is suited to the situation of each country. "For example, we currently have the biggest share of LPG (liquid propane gas) dispensers in Thailand, where there is a big push to adopt LPG vehicles. We plan to create energy infrastructures that are adapted to each country's needs, such as creating natural gas dispensers where there are a lot of natural gas cars," explains Mr. Yoyasu. Please come and see with your own eyes, these stations with various energy types that will become the backbone of the cars and lifestyles of the future.

We await your visit to SMC2015, where you will be able to see the many exhibitions presenting the vision of cars, lifestyles and societies of the future.
