"Always there for you - anytime, anywhere"
The theme of the Hyundai Booth at the 2003 Tokyo Motor Show is "Always there for you - anytime, anywhere." Hyundai's global slogan, "Always there for you," expresses our desire to be right alongside you, not just in Korea, but around the world. Hand in hand with the people of the world, Hyundai Motor Company is working to create a society where everyone can have hopes and dreams. For this year's Tokyo Motor Show, we added the Japanese message "anytime, anywhere" to help everyone in Japan - from children to adults - better understand our message.
Building on the worldwide football fever sparked by the 2002 FIFA World Cup™, Hyundai will reprise its role as an official sponsor of the 2006 FIFA World Cup™. And we are doing all we can to share that enthusiasm, as you'll see from the German World Cup logos that decorate our booth. Hyundai is already looking forward to seeing you all again amidst the fast-paced excitement on the playing fields of Germany.
Always there for you - anytime, anywhere. |

Outline of the Vehicles to Be Exhibited |

1.NEOS-II [reference model] |
With an
eye to the future, Hyundai presents a new genre
- the CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle). We combined
a compact body with bold exterior styling and
an interior full of new ideas to create a premium,
extraordinary vehicle. The "crossover"
concept of the NEOS-II is based on the ability
to meet both on- and off-road needs, but the focus
is on its "spaciously compact" design.
We focused on the front seats to create a personal
space for the driver and passengers, but maintained
the exterior at a size barely larger than our
compact car, the TB. Playful touches abound -
use your cell phone as an intelligent key, and
the AFS (Adaptive Forward Lighting System) front
headlights will automatically adjust their beams
to the vehicle's directional changes based on
steering angle and direction.

2.HYUNDAI CCS [reference model] |
 |
 |
 |
Developed
and manufactured in cooperation with Karmann,
the Hyundai CCS (Coupe Convertible Study) is a
study in adventurous styling. The key feature
of this coupe convertible is its new slide-and-fold
glass roof, offering stylish all-weather driving.
The roof can be set to the Closed, Slide, or Open
positions for comfortable open-air motoring depending
on the weather, temperature, or view. The driver
can alter the flavor of the well-proportioned
and breathtaking silhouette of the CCS using any
of the three settings. The future of the CCS will
bring even more exciting ideas, such as the addition
of solar panels to the glass roof.

The Elantra
has been popular ever since its debut in 2000
(2001 in Japan), with some 280,000 cars sold worldwide

Hyundai's core sedan, paying particular attention
to its exterior design, while adding new equipment
such as a BAS(Brake Assist System, emergency variable
power brake servo system) . And there's more -
Hyundai has made great strides in the precision
of the assembly of parts, engines, bodies, and
interior trimmings to bring you built-in durability,
