Harley-Davidson started its second century of business operation this year. The new 2004 Harley Davidson models debut at the Harley-Davidson Japan's booth during the 37th Tokyo Motor Show. To highlight the exhibition, the Harley-Davidson booth introduces the completely redesigned Sportster series; the FXDL Dyna Low Rider equipped with an EFI system; the VRSCB V-Rod, a new addition to the VRSC series; and the FLHRS Road King Custom. All other models have also received numerous improvements. With the splendid new lineup, Harley-Davidson continues to carry on its century-long tradition and legend toward the future.

Sportster Series

Since its introduction, the Sportster has steadily and righteously established itself as a simple yet powerful motorcycle series. This year, all Sportster models have been completely redesigned. The new models inherit the spirit of "pure sport" and offers improvement in all aspects. The refined style of the redesigned fuel tank grabs attention. The style is distinctively different from the previous models, yet the Sportster identity is undeniable. All models come with the improved Evolution engine rubber-mounted to the frame, offering significantly enhanced comfort in a long cruise. The new frame has high rigidity. There are many more engineering enhancements in the new Sportster series.

VRSC Series

The VRSCB is a new addition to the VRSC series. The unique design with the black-out frame, levers, rear suspension, and brake calipers leaves a powerful impression in people who see it. The innovative styling is combined with engineering excellence. Like its brother VRSCA, the VRSCB is equipped with the 1,130-cc liquid-cooled, 60 DOHC V-Twin engine, which delivers the level of performance that makes one remind of a drag racing bike. The dish wheels, front forks rake to 38 degrees, tough-looking and attractive hydroformed frame all combine to create a functional beauty and deliver superb performance. The VRSCB is a new and exciting element that enhances the Harley-Davidson motorcycle lineup and take many more motorcycle enthusiasts to a new dimension of riding fun.

Dyna Glide Series

In the 2004 model year, the Dyna Glide series sports newly designed fuel tanks and consoles. Also new are the designs of the ignition covers and electrical panels. This year, the Dyna Glide series offers the fuel-injected engine on the FXDL Dyna Low Rider model for the first time.

Softail Series

The Softail models continue to boost the simple and traditional appearance. The timeless styling and the Harley-Davidson's bold riding feel are the hallmarks of the Softail series. The rear shock absorbers hidden under the frame, and the balancer-equipped Twin Cam 88B engine work together to ensure that you can ride in style and comfort. The refined styles of this year's models enhance their originalities even more.

Touring Series

The new Road King Custom comes with a wealth of standard equipment for a comfortable touring experience and an attractive appearance. This new model expanded the line up of the Harley-Davidson Touring series that is favored by many. The pullback beach handle bar, low & long styling, performance-oriented cast wheels, and detailed chrome parts are all part of this stylish and high-profile custom motorcycle.

Buell Corner

The Buell family has been joined by two new models featuring an all-new 1,203-cc engine. The Firebolt XB12R and Lightning XB12S both offer high performance that can be described as "American muscle". Each model boasts a unique and distinctive style, with an undeniable high-quality appearance. All four Buell models have received improvements and refinements for this year.
