The 46th Tokyo Motor Show 2019: Show Theme and Logo

Tokyo Motor Show 2019 will be held from October 24 (Thursday) through November 4 (Monday), 2019 at Tokyo Big Sight and multiple venues in the popular Odaiba area, in Tokyo Waterfront City (Ariake, Koto-ku). As the organizer of the Tokyo Motor Show, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association is pleased to announce the theme and logo for the 46th edition of the show.

Tokyo Motor Show 2019 will be setting its sights, and those of its viewers, on the future, enabling them to see for themselves what mobility itself may look like in coming years and, more expansively, in the broader context of the living experience of the future and the vast array of applied technologies which that experience could feature.

The open-ended scope of potentialities that such visions encapsulate are reflected in the show’s “Open Future” theme and in its colorful and eye-catching pictorial representation in the show’s logo, which we hope the public will respond to with great interest and excitement.

The “openness” conveyed by this theme will, we believe, be both a challenge and a stimulus to the show’s organizer and its exhibitors.  This year’s show will demonstrate that the Tokyo Motor Show is where the potential of the future is always expanding.  The 46th Tokyo Motor Show 2019 will feature a wide range of programs, events, and activities that can be enjoyed by all—not just by car and motorcycle enthusiasts, but by visitors of all ages including young people and families.  All are welcome, and we very much look forward to seeing you there.
