Born of the ideas, passion and knowhow of people, captivating machines surround us. Cars, too, are machines given birth to by human hands. The “TOYOTA KIKAI” (“kikai” means “machine” in Japanese) aims to highlight such elements as the beauty, precision and mechanical workings of a car by literally providing windows on action that’s normally out of view. It’s hoped that this car—by helping people see things that are usually hidden from sight—will make it easier to discover the joy in having a life touched on so many sides by things that people make. Going beyond conventions, a new attractiveness awaits.
