The overall theme of the Mitsubishi booth is "Next Beginnings - Turning the Page of a New Era"
Three concept vehicles, the HSR-VI, TETRA and MAIA are displayed on the main stage. Among these, the most remarkable is the HSR-VI, equipped for ITS (Intelligent Transport System) automated traffic system envisioned for the 21st century. The HSR-VI is an advanced research vehicle with two driving modes, automated and driver operated. The HSR-VI research results are reflected in production models. Crowds of observers several rows deep hover around the HSR-VI, hardly moving.

Next to the HSR-VI, the TETRA is exhibited. The TETRA is a "refined leisure vehicle for active urban citizens" with a wide cabin and a set of folding doors to improve its utility. The popular MAIA is a multi-functional minicar. Its innovative satellite seating system can be configured at will to create spaces for two to four occupants.
The Mitsubishi booth also focuses on its GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) engine, which is obvious from the monument symbolizing a GDI engine located at the center of the booth. Also, all three concept vehicles have GDI engines, the displaying of which was another appealing reason to come to this show for Mistsubishi.

Denso ITS Virtual Cockpit
Learning about the traffic system of the 21st century.

Denso ITS Virtual cockpit

When a car suddenly cuts in front of you at an intersection, an automated braking system engages to prevent an accident. On the highway, your car automatically switches to automatic driving mode, allowing you to even read E-mail without having to pay attention to driving. The Denso booth located in the North Hall explains this new traffic control system for the 21st century called ITS (Intelligent Traffic System) and introduces what the world of driving will be like under this system.
In this booth, there are three futuristic car cockpits simulating driving in a city of the future. You select one of three options, go to an airport, go to a restaurant or sports car driving, and drive with the aid of ITS. The Denso booth is popular not only with youth but also for older generations.
